how to make free calls with rooted phone

hey i just recently rooted my mytouch slide 4g and was wondering how i can utilize that to make free calls. ive been looking into it but not really understanding how to do it. any advice would be great thank u!

I'm not sure I understand your question. You don't have to be rooted to do free VoIP calling. Google Voice and innumerable clones provide free calling to anyone.

if your talking about using the phone on a wireless carrier with out having a rate plan or something like that, that's illegal.

you can use a voip app using wifi only for free calls
