Android Question

Hi there. Sorry about the very noob question here, but I'm new to Android and would you believe it, even new to smartphones full stop. I know. Where have I been :)

I've been given a pretty nice phone. A Samsung Galaxy Nexus running Android 4.2.

I'm on an Orange/EE pay-as-you-go deal. I want to make sure the phone and none of it's apps try to communicate on the internet using the mobile network (thus costing me unforeseen amounts). I want to make sure it only uses WiFi connections.

Is it possible to do this on a global scale, or does it have to be done app by app?

Sorry again if this is a stupid question.

Thanks,

@ndy

Me too. This seems like a pretty cool place. Like I say, I'm dead new to Android. But so far I'm really impressed with some of the stuff you can get on it. Overwhelming the amount of apps out there. But starting to get a hang of it a little now.
