How to make (whatever this is called in the picture) on the bottom

I know it's on the bottom for this device, but on my Nexus 7 it's kind of annoying how it's on the side all the time. Does anyone know how to make it be at the bottom? I can't change the 'smallest width' setting on the Nexus 7 because it's not an option on it.

That's called a dock. You can change it by using a different launcher. You can use Nova Launcher prime. But try other launchers too and see which one is best for you...

Aw but I didn't want to have to switch launchers... I like my launcher. I think I'm fine with it for now, but thanks... I just wish there was another way...

Does the dock move to the bottom when you have the tablet oriented in portrait mode?

Yes, but I don't like using tablets in portrait mode.

And I changed the smallest width back to 793, so it's at the bottom like normal. I just wanted the YouTube thumbnails not to be blurry, but the only way (I know of) to do it is by changing it to 618 or less.
