How To Manually Update

I was trigger happy and accidentally swiped away a notification for an app update that requires approval.
Android newbie here, so can anyone tell me how to get that update request back or to manually update the app?

go to the playstore, tap the playstore icon in the top left of the screen, then tap my apps. You should then see the apps that are needed to update.
