How to move all my data from one phone to new one

I have a motog 2nd gen and upgraded the software last week and now ive bought a new motog 3rd gen and want to move all my music, pictures in internal storage onto my new phone but i dont know how to do this. Been wrecking my head about how to do it.

the simple answer is "You can't".

Just a thought here, why not plug the old device into a computer, save the files you want to the desktop...plug the new device in, then transfer the files to the same location on the new device?

@Mikestony I'm finding it difficult to even transfer pics, music onto laptop from phone since I updated the software. I think it will be the same with my downloads too.

Another thing, I was thinking of giving this 2nd gen phone away to a family member or even sell it but I'm worried about all my personal info thatll be left on the hard drive. Is there anyway of cleaning the whole phone so if I give it away or sell, I won't have no worries about bank details or other very personal information being seen.

Experts say the best thing to do is smash the old phone to prevent any personal data loss. That's if you're planning on selling it. So just don't sell it.

From what I've seen the recommended thing to do when selling a device is to move or copy all the data you want to retain to a computer or cloud storage. Then encrypt the device. Then perform a hard reset. Should be good to go after that.
