I am trying to make space on my phone for the new update and want to move all photos to my SD Card... Pictures i take on the camera go to my SD card but i have many folders of pictures and when you move pics from the camera folder to a new folder i created, those new folders are stored on the phone storage...

how do i move these to SD Card??

how does it work when doing it on PC? do you mean just transfering the photots from phone to mc and removing them completely from my phone?

Not unless you want that.

The pc ought to see both internal and external storage and have no permission issues with either one.

So I'm suggesting a copy/paste or a drag and drop with the folders in question from one part of your phone to the other, cleanup later as necessary, all courtesy of Windows Explorer.

I do this sort of thing with X-plore on my phone but I recommended the pc because that doesn't seem to work for every model phone.

Not sure if this would apply to your device, however on my HTC Desire 816 you can:
- Go to settings
- Go to storage
- Go to storage settings
- Then on Camera select "SD card storage"

This utilises the SD card storage for all videos and pics rather than your internal phone storage.

You can also move existing photos on your internal storage in a similar way:
- Go to settings
- Go to storage
- Go to phone storage > make more space
- Go into gallery, select all images, then activate "move to SD card"
