How to navigate to contact name with Google Now?

Can I use Google Now to launch Maps/Navigation for a contact in my Gmail contacts (which are also synced to the phone)?

E.g. I have a valid Gmail contact synced to the phone named John Smith who has a home address, mobile #, etc.

If I invoke Google Now and say...
"Navigate to John Smith" (or "Navigate to contact John Smith", or "Navigate to John Smith home", or "Map John Smith home", etc.) Google Now does a web search for "John Smith" rather than navigating to the home address of John Smith in my contacts.

However, if I say, "Call John Smith mobile" or "Display contact John Smith", or "Text message to John Smith, etc., Google Now takes the appropriate action.

I can't believe that Google Now won't let me do such a basic, obvious thing.

Good news, bad news regarding Commandr.
The dev did indeed update the app, but Google has come out with yet another update (v4.6.10.19.arm) that broke it! This time though, it's not totally broken… only the "Return to Previous App" functionality after a command. I was able to get around it by creating a MacroDroid script that starts a 9-second timer when voice search is initiated, then simulates hitting the Back key (which exits Google Now). I also set a Condition so that it only triggers if Google app is running in foreground (that prevents it from timing out after 9 seconds when using other voice controlled apps).
