Here is the deal, I live in an internet dead zone, but I have unlimited data on my phone. I am trying to use my phone to watch movies on my TV. Thinking it would be easy I went out and bought a Type C to HDMI cable....yeah that didn't work. So tech gurus how can I watch Netflix from my phone on my giant tv without internet? (God I can't wait to move!)

Tether using the phone's WiFi hotspot and a Chromecast. I wonder if that would work or not? Whatever you do with a ZTE Blade Z Max is going to have to be wireless, as it just doesn't have video out otherwise, as you've found out already.
