How to point to email program

Hi

I have to send a spreadsheet via my email program, K9-mail. But I don't know how to tell me spreadsheet progfram (Andropenoffice) which program to use - it prompts for a path, and I've searched but have no idea where the K9-mail executable is - or whether pointing to it in that way would work!

I don't use that program, but every other office progran I tried has a 'share' or 'send' function which allows you to select how to share or send the file. One of the choices is email. Selecting the email app would automatically attach the file and let you write an email.

Thanks guys.

Yes I did see on other office suits the share or send function opened up a choice of programs, including my email program. But AndropenOffice, being a port of OpenOffice, is much more full-functioned than the other Android Office Suites I've looked at, and doesn't require me to learn the program anew.

And the process of sending a document by email has several options (send as ms office, send as open format, send as pdf) as a single step, which is very efficient; it doesn't require me to save the file first - which I don't want to do anyway.

I just looked at the app, and the send function doesn't work. Basically, it's just a port trying to run Open Office on Android via emulation, hence the bad performance as well on a quad core device compared to an actual Android app. And as ports often have, some functions don't work. The only way to send a file using that app is to save it first, then open your email app and then attach the file. Android doesn't work like Windows, you can't access the executables normally.
