How to prevent email from being deleted on the server

I just switched from a Droid Turbo to a Turbo 2. In setting up the email on the Turbo, I could specify my
POP server on port 110, and there is an option "DELETE EMAIL FROM SERVER".

On the Turbo 2, it wants to use IMAP, where the option to leave email on the server doesn't exist. I can change the settings from IMAP.ALASKA.NET to POP.ALASKA.NET, but I can't change to port to 110, and no option to leave the mail on the server is there.

How can I configure this thing to leave email on the server when I delete it from the phone?

Which email app are you using? The default one that came installed on your phone? Check in the app's settings menu for an option to stop deleting email messages off the server.
If there aren't any options to manually change things you'll need to follow what @Dannydet suggested and install a third-party email app from the Play Store. Most third-party email apps have a lot more functionality and user-controllable options than the default email app anyway. There are plenty of viable choices too -- I prefer K-9 Mail, a lot of people on this forum gave high marks for Aqua Mail, and Blue Mail gets a lot of praise from the tech press. What email service do you use? If Gmail there's the Gmail app, Yahoo Mail there's the Yahoo Mail app, Outlook/MSN Mail/Hotmail there's the Outlook app so those are good options to look into too. Look at the screenshots of on each product page to get a look at the user interface to see what appeals to you the most.

Thanks for the suggestions, guys.

I have been using the default email app that comes with my Android phones for years, but when I had to replace my old phone running Android 6.0 with a new one that has 7.0, the email app no longer supports POP3 servers. Or, more specifically, when I specify my ACSAlaska POP server on port 110, it does not give me the option to leave the mail on the server. It appears to only want to do IMAP.

I just downloaded TypeApp. So far, that is doing what I want.
