Help How to prevent music player start

My 2012 Highlander automatically starts Music player on my Note 4 every time BT connects phone to the vehicle.
I can not figure how to stop this. Besides shutting down BT, of course. There is nothing in Settings that will prevent this. Phone is registered with vehicle as "Bluetooth player" and if you remove that, then you can not stream music to the head unit.
Any ideas?

Mine does the same with my Pioneer stereo in my Jeep. I use rocket player and there is setting to turn off play as soon as bluetooth is connected. Check the music player app setting.

I tried and can not find settings that will do this. Also I found on vehicle that head unit can be set to automatically connect or not and to connect from vehicle or connect from phone.
But if I set to connect from phone and disable automatic connect then BT simply does not connect to HU.
