How to put pics from computer onto my phone? Do I just use the USB cable that came with the charger?

I want to transfer my pics from my computer to my phone.. but how do I do this? Do I use the USB cable that I use for my charger? and is it safe to do this on a laptop that has crappy battery? It won't ruin my phones battery, will it?

No it won't hurt your phone battery. I just USB plugin and use mass storage mode on phone then look for camera(dcim) file and open it then drag/drop pics from one file to the phone's file. This method works well for me. Or email them to your phone if they're not to many.

You could also use a service like Dropbox. Place the pics on you PC into the Dropbox shared folder, then download to your phone when you want them.

The app, ES File Explorer is a terrific app to use when you want to move files. Move files easily with ES File Explorer, using WiFi or Bluetooth.

Of course, Drop Box is very useful..

Using the USB cable is something I haven't done in ages.

To expand on this, MotoCast works pretty well to access your photos on your home computer. But I notice when you download them through that, it puts them on the internal memory. Most of my photos taken are very large (5MB or so) so I am wondering if there is a way to just copy them over to the SD card from a computer that will automatically reduce the size way down without having to resize and then transfer them over. Either by USB, wifi, or whatever. Any apps out there that do that?
