How to read a pdf book on samsung galaxy 5 android

II have downloaded a pdf book 18 M. It opes up properly bt the fonts are very small. After some trial and error, I found that tapping twice on the screen increases the font. However, they increase a lot adn I have to scroll left and right over and over to read a sentence.

I checked adobe reader's website - there is no mention on how to control the font as in reader's PC version. Any advice on having the ability to read a book appreciated
Thanks

As you've noticed, pdf files are huge and are painful to read on a small screen. If it is a "searchable PDF", your best bet would be to convert it (say, to .epub) using the free ebook management program Calibre, and then read it with a good ebook reader app like Aldiko or Moon+. If it's not searchable, meaning that it is just an image file and doesn't contain anything a computer can interpret as text, I'm afraid you're out of luck unless you want to OCR it yourself.

You may use text reflow features on some of the pdf readers. Adobe, repligo and ezpdf reader all support this feature. No need to convert to epub. Pdf to text is on the fly.
