How to remove weather from lockscreen

I would really like to get rid of the weather report in the lock screen. I've been looking for this setting pretty much since I got my phone a week ago and haven't had any luck figuring it out. I've searched several time but all the suggestion I've found got me no where. Got any idea of how to remove it?

I have seen this. I believe it exists. But they don't give an exact directory or screen shots on how to get to those settings. The only lock screen sections I can find allow you to create a password or change the image.

My searches are all pointing to the weather is a permanent item on the stock lockscreen.
I can't verify this w/100% certainty,as I'm running a customized version of the HTC/Sense7 O/S (VIPER ROM)
You can use a 3rd party lockscreen app,or,if you're into rooting/ROMMING/modding your phone at the system level, there are ways to have a more customizable lockscreen.

I'll have to look into third party lock screen. Otherwise I may just stick to leaving my location services off so it doesn't eat my battery.
