I know there are a number of folder organizer apps out there, but none that I have found allow them to drag and drop items from the home screen.
Here's the problem:
When I'm traveling on a business trip, I use the stock widget "Shortcuts/Directions and Navigation" to give me easy access to directions for the calls I plan to make. To keep my home screen uncluttered, I drag and drop these into a stock Folders/New Folder folder.
I do the same thing with the contact records for all the people I plan to meet with.
The problem is that I would like to be able to name these folders.
I've tried the other folder organizer apps and they don't allow me to drop the direction shortcuts into them. They seem to have to be configured from the application list, or the contact app.
It would be best if android allowed you to name the stock "new folder" from the shortcut widget, but it doesn't appear to.
Any ideas for me?
