Root How to revert back to stock ROM

If needed, how would I revert back to stock rom? Would I lose all data?

I currently have FE16 installed but battery life is killing me.

The easiest way is to use the one click odin for el29. You can find it on xda. And yes you should do a full restore as andorid data does not do very well with a rollback. Or just flash the next ics version. 21 is out already.
