I wish to root my htc wildfire s to free up some memory from the 32gb microsd card to be used as memory for apps as the wildfire can not install anything new because it has such small memory as soon as installation is over my wildfire says you need to free up memory on phone to function and the only way is to uninstall the previous loaded app.

Hi and welcome to Android forums. :)

Have you connected your phone to your computer and found any folders for apps that you previously had installed but no longer have? Sometimes you'll find that they leave behind a lot of rubbish that you don't need. There will be a way of freeing up memory without resorting to rooting your device. On my HTC One, if I go to 'All Apps' I find that there is still cached data from uninstalled apps.

Rooting is such a complex question to answer that the best thing you can do is to sign up the the forums using the link in my signature below and ask in forums dedicated to rooting your HTC.
