how to root and flash a galaxy GT-i9500

I've a galaxy GT-i9500 which is an international version bought from USA but India sim didn't work.So i gave to a shop to make it work however it has a custom version of jelly bean i.e 4.2.2 and no smart features are working so i want to root and flash but i can't see a blue while rooting it through odin.Baseband version i9500XXUAMDE and custom version shine.20130614.Q.v007

Rooting won't solve your SIM problem. What you need is to unlock the phone. Just Google for unlock Galaxy GT-i9500 and you will find many tutorials. To start, you will need to remove the back cover, pull the battery, and record your IMEI number.
