You Can Root It Using Different Ways
1-Try Z4Root From The Android Market
2-Using Odin Flash Any Voodoo Kernel Or Speedmod Kernel
3-I Also Think That Super One Click Will Be Useful

Well, I've followed the instructions to install Clockworkmod via Odin but my SGS never restarted.

All I get is the "Galaxy S GT-I9000" screen in white lettering, which comes on and off every few seconds.

Now how do I get it to boot?
