Root How to root Samsung Galaxy S running 2.3.6?

Hey Guys,
So I recently updated my SGS and I lost my root. So short and sweet, how do I root on 2.3.6. I would love a video link or just instructions in general would be fantastic!

i used super one click to root the same phone you have

The best way (meaning simple & stable no error rate) root via Odin software..
I have heard many unpleasant experiences problems errors users have had with other methods (super click etc)

Hey guys thanks for your help!
I actually just used Odin to install the official package update XXJW4 and then CF Rooted it. I now have a fast fabulous Galaxy S with CyanogenMod 9!!!!!!!
