How to root SM T-111

Hi everyone!

I got a Samsung Tablet T-111 and i'm trying root the device. The problem is that i found a lot of misinformation, and i'm not sure which is the best way.

Can someone point me a tutorial that really works, program that i can use and such?

Tahnks in advance and sorry for my bad english.

The first posting on this XDA thread on rooting a Tab 3 (SM-T111) states a pretty straight-forward way to root (avoiding the need for one of those one-click solutions):

Basically you'll need a Windows PC, to run the Odin utility, and then you'll need to boot up your Tab 3 into its 'Download Mode', and then connect it to your computer to flash a custom Recovery (TWRP), and then SuperSU.

-- On your Tab 3 don't forget to go into Settings >> Developer options and enable 'USB Debugging' before you start.

-- It's probably necessary to install the Samsung driver in order for you to be able to mount your Tab 3:

-- You can download the Odin utility from here:

Note that Odin is not very backwards compatible so you might not want to use the latest version. Looking up the Tab 3 Lite specs it's apparently running 4.2.x Jellybean? If so, you might want to try using v. 3.09

-- SuperSU is available in the Play Store or from here:
