Root How to root the LG Lucid 3

NOTE: I couldn't get towelroot to work on the new OTA update (VS87611B).

I believe towelroot relies on an exploit that was patched (in Android KitKat kernels >= June 3rd 2014)... so be sure to get root before updating the phone.

I tried tapping logo 3 times and using the default code w/ no luck as well.

Would like to run 4.4.4 CarbonROM or stock android w/o all the Verizon bloat... although I'm worried that even if rooted, there are no ROMs or recovery images for this device.

Yeah i am still on the stock version (cant do the update, prolly cause i am rooted) does the new update on 4.4.4? And there arent any roms or recovery for it :( but i guess it will only be me and you for test reveries and roms? :p
 
I've got the same problem as briceburg -towelroot doesn't work with the new OTA update. Any other suggestions?
