Root How to root with 2.3.5 Muve preinstalled

I just bought the Ascend II and they are now being sold in the white box with the Muve 2.3.5 update already on the phone. Is there a way to root the phone yet?

I couldn't get the root zip to install via the stock recovery (it couldn't find the sdcard for some reason), but it did work via CWM. I can't remember whether or not I needed to use the "Fix Permissions" in CWM, though I do remember needing to wipe the cache. Otherwise, the install instructions are exactly the same -- place the update.zip on the root of your SD card, boot to CWM Recovery, and choose "apply update from sdcard", then reboot. (if "apply update from sdcard" doesn't work, try it with "install zip from sdcard" instead, thought the "update" one should work)
