Help How to save/cache youtube video/music?

I don't mean downloading the youtube videos or music, which may violate the law and involve unsafe apps. I mean, I want to save or cache some youtube videos under WiFi environment such that if I watch or listen to the same video or music again later, where without the presence of WiFi, I don't need to waste my mobile data because it's limited here and only 1GB per month. Do I need to and how to set up those ??

Ok I'm Not sure what you mean about caching the content for later ...???...

Sounds like what you mean is.
How can I save videos & music content for offline viewing.

and with out recommending wierd/shady down-loader apps...

I'd recommend VLC
it has options to save/convert media streams to a folder/file on your /sdcard

you'll have to have the URL of the content you want to stream and then put it into VLC and VLC can stream it and record it too!!

Now I realize that doesn't exactly answer the question you posted, but with out saying too much
I believe I've pointed you toward what your after...

And remember :
for things we can't discuss HERE ,
Google is your friend :)

Hope that helps

Thanks for your help but
first, my English is not good. Second, I am discussing legal issue,

I understand that I could download the youtube video /music from desktop PC and then transfer it to my mobile phone for offline using, but that is not what I want. It's not legal and not convenient though with PC

I am looking for a way that I can first play the youtube video on my Android phone and then the video will be stored in the ROM of my phone and then next time I play it again on my phone, I don't need to cost my mobile data,

of course this would be never a problem if WiFi was always available for me or my mobile data was fast and unlimited. However, reality is not.

I hope you understand my question
