I used to get maps as the default when I touched am address in any other application, such as contacts.  Once a choice appeared between waze, map and earth, I picked earth but now that's the only thing that loads.   I would like to revert to maps or have the choices pop-up again each time I touch an address on my Samsung Android 6.

How to select Google Maps as default location Map?

On my HTC M9, to clear Earth as default, I go to Settings - Apps - Earth, tap on Earth to get 'App info', scroll down to 'Open by default', tap and then tap 'Clear defaults'. It should be the same or similar on your Samsung.
You should then get the options again.
