How to set a default quality for youtube?

I have limited data for my phone, how do I set a default (in my case lowest - 144) quality for youtube videos? I turn a video down to 144, but when that finishes and I click on another video it just goes to whatever quality it feels like. Please help.

While I can't find a setting to permanently set a default resolution, you CAN go to YouTube Settings --> General and select "Limit mobile data usage". That way the app will only stream HD video when the device is connected to WiFi and not on mobile data.

Done, many thanks The_Chief. I actually can set it to the exact quality that way too - now set to 144p.
