Help How to set finger print instead of password for certain apps?

I just got my new Galaxy Note 8 phone which replaces my iPhone 6sPlus. Is it possible to setup the login credentials to my bank app to use my finger print instead of a password each time I log in as I can on the iPhone? If so, how does one do this?

I use BOA and when I entered my username and password, there was a checkbox asking me if I wanted to use my fingerprint for future sign ins. I am able to do this on on BOA, Starbucks, Ebay, and a couple other apps, but not all apps, so I am pretty sure this only possible if said app supports this feature.
 
AS stated, the phone has the capability to do this. the app devs need to implement that feature in their own respective apps.
