Help How to set SD Card as default photos location?

I am trying to understand how to set the SD card in my Note 8 phone as the default location that photos are stored. I want to set up the phone so when I take a picture it is stored by default on the SD Card. I also want to be able to copy image files from my computer to my phone to the same location on the SD card.

Any help on how to do this is greatly appreciated.

Usually when you put in a SD card it will ask you, if you missed it - or it did not:

Open the Camera App and go to settings (The Gear) and find Storage Location tap it and you can tell it to use sd card as default location to save

I also want to be able to copy image files from my computer to my phone to the same location on the SD card.

connect your phone to your computer, find your files in a file manager and look for a folder called DCIM in there is a file called camera. Copy your pictures to that folder.

Not all pics will be saves to the sdcard, it tells you the exceptions when you insert the card.
I add pics to some of my s-notes, they save internal.
