How to set up a VPN on my Linux with Galaxy S4?

I can't seem to find a way to setup a VPN from an app to control my Linux Mint 16 laptop. Anyone know how to do this?

Actually that won't work. AFAIK, you cannot control Linux computers with that (I tried this yesterday), you can only use it on Linux to control Macs on Snow Leopard or newer and Windows XP or newer

Yes, I cant get it to work from my note 2 to Ubuntu either (should have tried before posting ! Google say it does (or at least dont say it does not) but I dont know how...maybe in a later release of the android app.

If they're both on the same network, any VNC server on Linux and any VNC viewer on the phone. You only need team viewer if you have to get around a router (meaning the phone and the Linux box are on different networks) and you don't want to (or don't know how to) forward ports.
