How to setup Voicemail

I just got the Droid Eris. I am trying to setup voicemail. Only think I can find is visual voicemail. Is there a way to set up traditional voicemail?

Normally if you contact your carrier it will give you an option to set it up.

Normally it's in that book that came with your phone, some call it a owners/users manual

If you just upgraded from another Verizon phone, nothing changed with your voicemail.

If you need to set it up for the first time, I believe you call your number, hit #, dial the last four numbers of your cell number to get into setup, then follow the prompts.

Voicemail isn't a phone feature. It's a carrier feature. If you need help then contact your carrier.
