How to shutdown hotspot if not connected to

Hello,
I have a Oneplus 3 and I usually turn on the hotspot while commuting to work. How can I set it up to turn off automatically when my laptop is not connected to it?

you can use a macro to sense that, and then have the macro turn off hotspot when the link is gone.

MacroDroid is one potential helper here.
