How to store my music?

pomozki

Newbie
Hi folks, I'm about to ditch my iPhone and get my 1st Galaxy (S3, 32GB internal, quad-core 1gb RAM)
I've read about 1-2 problems, can someone advise me?
1) I'm buying a Micro SD card to store my music - do I need to do anything special to make sure when I add music it all goes to the card and NOT to the internal memory? I read somewhere you need to go thru a special process
2) Can I store music on both Internal and SD cards and play them all?
2) someone said they regretted updated their operating system from Ice Cream to Jellybean because it was now almost impossible to read their email messages against the background - anyone had this too?
thanks heaps and sorry if these are really basic questions

1) You can just copy paste the music into ure sd card easiest way to do it.
2) Yes you can store your music on both external and internal mmc and play them together
3) I am not using the official JB i have been running 4.1.2 omega rom and i dont face this issue.

I think Jelly Bean on the s3 is a huge improvement, I know some folks have had a few complaints and problems but most of it is easily fixed. I think the complaints are mostly with the gmail app. The email previews are grey writing on a white background but opening up the email it looks normal, the native email app previews are white writing on a dark background.

1) now why don't Apple let u do that
2) that's great news
3) sounds like another "jailbreak-type issue" that I'm looking 4ward to getting away from! u mean u can run a different operating system than the one they provide? arrgh

I did the official update last week. All is well for me. Some things changed that I don't like as much. Overall, I like it.

wow thanks mate

Apple tries to do everything for you and thinks that everyone should do it the same way. I think that for many people, they are happy with how Apple manages music. I can see that from a support point of view, it is easier to support users if they don't have to figure out how the user does things if it is different from user to user. For people who like to manage things their own way or have a mix of devices, it can make things more difficult or frustrating for them.
