How to sync contacts to N5?

I'm going from the GS3 to N5 and the wife to a N4.

Since I won't be going to a retail store for them to use their snazzy transfer cable.... Is the easiest way to get contacts from one phone to the next Bluetooth?

The easiest way is to sync your contacts to your gmail account. You can enable it under accounts->Google->Your E-Mail Address -> Then checking contacts & people details. If they're already enabled, toggle off then on to get a quick sync. Then once you activate your Nexus device with the same e-mail as on the S3, they should auto-load.
