How to sync samsung phone to Samsung Account

I've set up my Samsung account from my new Galaxy Ace 2 phone and tried to sync it - its showing in the Accounts and Sync section of settings but the little circle with the arrows is not green, its grey? Its not sync-ing to the account? Anyone any ideas? My google account is synced and shows all the things being backed up, but this one will not??
