how to take Verizon apps off samsung s6

I bought my S6 from Verizon and after 3 years, decided to switch to T-mobile. Phone works fine with T-mobile.
How can I get all the Verizon apps off the phone, the Verizon logo when it starts and hopefully it will also stop the verizon notifications that I have voice mail ad to dial *86 when there is no voice mail and Tmobile uses 123 to reach voicemail. Your help will be so very much appreciated.

I'm not sure about removing the apps, for that you would probably need to root your phone.
But most of them you could probably disable
Settings>application manager, find the app and disable it.
If you are no longer in Verizon, then you shouldn't be getting any voicemail.
Not sure i understand the 123 T-Mobile question

the 1-2-3 is what one dials for t-mobile voice mail retrieval, *86 is verizon voice mail retrieval . I did not get a voice mail, however, there was a verizon notification that I had one and it instructed me to dial *86, which of course did not work for anything since I am no longer on the verizon network.

How does one root their phone, and if complicated, is there a store that will do this for me?

For voicemail try long pressing 1 in phone dialer app that should bring up your voicemail.
For the voicemail notification try restarting your phone, if that doesn't help,
try clearing phone app data (that will probably erase your logs. But your contacts will stay)
Settings>apps>phone>storage>clear data.

Rooting is complicated and not worth it just to remove apps.

I keep getting notification that sim card is not Verizon. Just an irritant but would like to stop that notification and also the Verizon logo at restart....totally emotional I realize, but if there is a way besides rooting, would love to do it or have it done!
