Help How To Text My Current Lat/Long (Latitude/Longitude)?

In an emergency, I would like to know how to text my present Lat/Long to my rescue team.
I have Google maps on my Google Nexus 5 (Android vers 6.0) and it shows my location on the map but I don't see Lat/Long and even if I did, I wouldn't know how to text that info to someone else.
Any ideas on how to do this?

There may be another way, but when I was using Handcent (messaging app) there was an option to text my location.
The recipient would receive a link similar to latitude/longitude that they could click on to see where I was at.

Now, that's with a different messaging app, but like I said, there may be another way

Hi, you might find the following app useful. It has many functions in addition to being able to easily SMS your GPS Lat/Long position :-

I use it regularly in conjunction with Google Maps, OsmAnd and MagicEarth - especially the latter two as they are fully off-line mapping/navigation apps.

If you use GPS Test it allows you to share your location ( google maps link with coordinates) to most of the apps on your phone! (well, those that accept text entry - including sms apps)
