How to transfer files to laptop

I want to know if its possible to download files on my phone and then to transfer them to my windows 10 laptop

Yes it's possible. Easiest method is probably by USB, and just plug your phone into your Windows 10 laptop. Just make sure to select data mode rather than charge only on the phone.

Windows10 has some exceptionally difficult process for this, involving the installation of any non M$ drivers.. Now ya have to hold down the Select button when hitting restart option so it'll just boot into UEFI. From there go to Advanced - disable driver signature verification and allow another reboot but this time you can actually install your device drivers successfully to transfer files..
