How to turn a logo into a button

Hi folks

I'm totally new here. I don't even have an Android! I don't have one of those fruity things either. :-)

A buddy of mine has a group of consultants and wants to use their logo as a bookmark or a button on the screen. How can he do that please?

In the fruit version, it's a case of adding a png file to the root directory. Is it the same for the Android?

Thanks

You'll need to put the png file on the SD card somewhere, and use an application such as Desktop Visualizer to make the icon launch a certain app.

Other than that you could open up a particular applications .apk file, change the icon and re-package it but this I assume will be harder to accomplish.
