how to turn off Gmail notifications? Android 2.3

Hello,

I recently updated to Android 2.3. I use the Gmail app. When I had 2.1, I had the option to disable notifications for Gmail. Now that I have 2.3, I can't find a setting to do that. My phone notifies me whenever I get an e-mail, which is at least every 5 minutes, and it's driving me insane lol. Is there not a way to do it in 2.3?

Within the Gmail app, enter your settings, then click on the account you would like to disable notifications for. The option should be at the bottom.

Thank you very much. I didnt realise that menu was in there. Feel kind of dumb now lol.
