Can anyone help my Note 4 makes a really annoying sound when i unlock using the fingerprint sensor its driving me mad

It doesn't make the sound on lock unlock only when you scan the fingerprint even with lock sounds turned off

the fingerprint unlock could perhaps be different. I don't use it, but I do use the pattern unlock, and when I disable lock sounds, it doesn't make a sound when I unlock.
Try turning your system volume down. That should do it...but you'll lose other system sounds...not that this is important, but try it out as a possible fix.

Even with the system sound turned right down it still makes the same stupid noise

It worked for me for turning off the sound by unchecking lock/unlock box in the sound submenu in settings. My Note 4 is the Verizon model, US, Snapdragon based unit
