How to Turn off Swipe

I run with a Samsung Galaxy S9+ and AfterShokz headphones, listening to Amazon Music. Normally, I use face detection to unlock with a patter for backup (such as when too dark). I have SmartLock setup with the AfterShokz so the screen should be unlocked when connected. However, it still makes me swipe to unlock the screen.

I would like to be able to use voice commands for Amazon Music to tell Alexa what to play as I would like. AfterShokz has some music controls, but is limited. In order to tell Alexa what to play, the Amazon Music app must be open and the screen needs to be on. I can't just simply leave Amazon Music open, I need to take my phone out of the holster, swipe the screen to "unlock" it (even though SmartLock is setup!), and then can use voice... but by then I am holding my phone and using the screen anyway and my run has slowed or stopped.

I've tried turning on the On-body detection and Voice Match as well. What I found with Voice Match is that I can turn the screen on by saying "OK Google" and then I can immediately switch to an Amazon Music command "Alexa, play..." but that only works the first time because then Amazon Music is no longer open on the screen and won't accept voice commands anymore.

Are there any ideas to be able to use voice commands for Amazon Music / Alexa without swiping the screen every time?

Yeah, that swipe screen is a pita.

Since you have phone in holster, you can easily access the finger print sensor, which bypasses the swipe screen.

But, you can't easily tell when that works, so I use a tasker profile to vibrate whenever unlock occurs (fingerprint or otherwise)....I can feel that vibrate with my finger tip as feedback when unlock is successful. I have a few other tasker commands that I launch from my watch once the phone is unlocked

I suppose I should clarify how I am carrying it. It is in an armband with extra space for cards, money, etc. and a zipper. So the fingerprint is not accessible.

This is the case.
