Help How to turn off whatsapp?

1. How to turn off whatsapp?
2. If whatsapp cannot be turned off, is there a way to make it as if it is already turned off? Maybe like make myself invisible?
3. Is turning off data and wifi equals to turning off whatsapp?
4. When I turn off wifi/data for my Samsung S4, the wifi/data for the whole phone is turned off. Is there a way to only turn off data/wifi for whatsapp? (and still have wifi/data for other applications)

I'm no expert, but I think that as long as you don't actually log into the App, it's "as if " you were invisible. You can also disable it in the settings for the app from "manage apps" in settings and then it's as good as off and shouldn't even appear in the app drawer!
