How to un-link facebook picstures from Contacts

Somewhere along the way I chose to link my facebook pictures to my contacts and now I can't seem to override this option. I want to selectively change some pictures and I can't. I also can't remember where the heck I selected this option in the first place, any help would be appreciated. thansk!!

to select a pic you have, you need to go into the People settings then edit contact and click on the picture in the top left, that should let you choose.

It will let me change it , but then it links back to facebook and I am back where I started. I need to find a way to break the face book link
