Help How to unflash a samsung galaxy s5 phone?

So I ordered a phone off the internet and I use page plus. Before page plus only accepted 3g phones thats why I wanted a flashed phone but now they accept 4g phones so I want it to get back to 4g. Does anyone know how to do this? I tried doing a software update but now my text messaging app doesnt work.
 
Will my text messages get deleted if I restore my phone? Because I want to be able to check my messages first but my app won't let me open it

Q. How do I upgrade from 3G to 4G?

A. This cannot be done with a 3G phone. To use our 4G services you will need to get a compatible 4G LTE device, as well as a Page Plus 4G SIM card.
