How to unlock bootloader Xiaomi Mi5

First, you must get SMS approval from Xiaomi. If you have not received approval, you can go to http://en.miui.com/unlock/ to get SMS. Usually for approval, wait up to 10 days

Files needed

• Unlock Bootloader Tools
• Mi Flashtool
• Mi PC Suite

Tutorial

1. Install Mi and Mi Flashtool PC Suite on your computer or laptop.
2. Go to settings >> about phone and enable developer mode in Xiaomi MI5 by tapping some around 7x on MIUI Version.
3. If the developer is already active, then go to Settings >> Additional >> settings >> developer options >> check the USB debugging and Enable OEM unlock.
4. Next, connect your smartphone Xiaomi MI5 to a computer or laptop using a USB cable.
5. If the notification appears on Xiaomi MI5 you, choose always remember and press Yes / Ok.
6. Now turn off Xiaomi MI5 and into Fastboot mode by pressing Volume Down + Power button simultaneously.
7. Extract the file Mi Unlock Bootloader then run.
8. Xiaomi MI5 later you will be automatically detected by Mi Unlock Bootloader, and then press the Unlock button.
9. Wait until the unlock process is complete, then reboot.
10. Done.
