How to update prl Samsung Galaxy s5 metro pcs

Hey guys,

I have a metro Galaxy s5 I'm trying to update the prl by sending a call to *228 however the call never completes and ends. What am I doing wrong? Is my phone GSM? If so do I even need to update my prl? Thanks for reading.

Yes your phone is gsm, no need to worry about prl updates.

When on GSM the equivalent of the PRL is automatically pushed and saved on the SIM, nothing by the user has to be done.
