How to upgrade Android firmware 1.5 to new version (HTC MAGIC)

Hi All,

I having the HTC Magic Phone, i have bought this phone form Qatar Vodafone.

My phone Firmware version is 1.5 and i have seen Android release 2.0 and 2.1 version,

please any one tell me how to upgrade to latest version.

i tried to download the HTC site
HTC Magic - Software Download

ROM Upgrade with HTC Sense for HTC Magic
when i type my serial number it's giving
HT98ZKF00905 (Sorry, this software download is not suitable for your device.)

anyone tell me how to upgrade to latest android version.
