How to upgrade KitKat 4.4.2 to lollipops

Upgrades are incredibly device specific... there is no "universal" upgrade.

So without knowing which device you have, its not really possible for anyone to offer any real help.


What device do you have?
 
Just stay with KK it unless your device has at least 2gb of RAM. I leaned the lesson by sacrifying my Nexus 7 some years ago. Lollipop requires much more RAM to function properly. And the app updates for Lollipop also require more CPU power.
 
I'd get a new phone, the app updates are breaking the apps and Google apps sometimes won't let ya do anything until they update
