How to use 4G even when on Wireless?

Hello!

I recently got a Razr Maxx, and I'm loving it! I just have one question: How do you force the phone to use the 4G network even when there are wireless networks available? I like to use my phone for music streaming when I go out for a run. However, for about a half mile away from my house, my phone is unable to connect to either the wireless or the 4g. I know my phone has 4g access at my home because when I drive home I stay on 4g until it has a chance to connect to my wireless.

If I try to turn off the wireless, then I am not able to connect to any networks.

Any tips? I would like to be able to use 4g despite being connected to the wireless. Thanks!
