How do I shut down the 4G LTE and using only my Wifi to surf the internet and to send and recieve messages on my phone?

To turn off Data the process varies by phone, but should be similar to:
Open the Menu.
Click Settings
Select Wireless and Networks.
Look for any Mobile Network options or something similar to that.
Unselect Data, or Network Connection, or similar.
Another possible location: Menu --> Settings --> Data manager --> Data delivery
The option to turn on WiFi will also be in Wireless and Networks.
